| Apex Property Care was established in 1984 with clear objectives to provide tailor made solutions that suit each individual property and owner.
Apex Property Care specialise in diagnosing and carrying out remedial preservation and conservation works relating to dampness and timber decay in buildings. Before we make recommendations for works we prefer to make sure that we also address the cause of the problems. Whenever possible we use non-destructive techniques to investigate the causes and extent of the defects. This allows us to develop appropriate solutions, predicting timescales and costs more accurately before disrupting the premises and before work starts. Dampness shows itself in buildings in a variety of ways and from various sources. Sometimes the source is external, but it can also be the result of how we live in, use and ventilate a building. We regularly use moisture monitoring equipment over a period to help arrive at correct analysis and develop a cost effective solution to eliminate or control the dampness, depending on our client’s needs. Converting a basement or cellar space into comfortable living quarters or suitable storage often requires some form of internal moisture control. Conditions can change once a basement or cellar is used in a new way and we aim to help address these issues with each of our clients. Apex Property Care have a range of solutions that can be used to help achieve these objectives that can be incorporated into any basement or cellar improvement scheme. In addition to basement and cellar conversions Apex Property Care also specialise in accurate diagnostics of Wet Rot, Dry Rot and Dampness in buildings. |
